Mónica Loya brings you her latest body of work, Out of Context, to Zihuatanejo!
In this series of images, we can see several female characters, performing a series of actions in some cases, but which in turn are absent, giving way to the present only becoming an abstract thought: the body it can remain in a space, but the mind is going to a totally different place. Loya’s work has an immediate reference in the real world world, but if we look closely, we will see that we have been like many of the characters they refer to in this exhibition, far from the present and closer to the space that recreates the image in front of us.
